Question

Where can we stay for the weekend?

Answer

We recommend staying on the venue's resort, Log Country Cove, for the weekend. As wedding guests, you are eligible to take advantage of a third free night if you book your stay for at least 2 nights. Find the information for LCC on the travel tab. There is also some alternative hotel options in the neighboring town, Marble Falls (about 25 minutes away).

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

This is completely up to you! Although we love all of your children, we are asking our wedding is an adult only event. If you would like to enjoy the weekend on the lake with your kiddos, please arrange a babysitter for the night of the wedding.

When should we arrive?

Answer

We are recommending guests come Thursday evening/Friday morning if they want to take full advantage of their weekend. Since the resort offer's a third night stay for free, we recommend guests come in early to enjoy a day on the lake Friday, with departure Sunday morning after the wedding.

If we want to stay at the resort, who should we stay with?

Answer

The resort offers a wide range of houses, from 2-30 people. We recommend you reach out to friends or family you know that are coming, and coordinate staying at a house together. The larger the house, the more amenities it will have (pool, hot tub, kitchen, billiards table, etc). If you are not sure who is on the guest list, reach out to Athen and she can help coordinate the best house that fits your needs.

What is the dress code for the weekend?

Answer

The lake is a place where we kick our shoes off, relax, and have a great time! Be sure to bring your swim suit, something casual for Friday night's rehearsal dinner and welcome party if you are staying at the house with the bride and groom or are family (jeans/khaki shorts/pants and collar shirt for guys, sun dress/cocktail dress for girls), and something semi-formal for the wedding; but really, feel free to wear whatever is most comfortable for you.

If we are flying in, where should we fly into?

Answer

We suggest flying into the Austin or San Antonio airport, depending on where you're coming from and what airline you are flying. From there, the resort/venue is about 1-1.5 hour drive. We suggest renting a car vs ubering. If you are unable to rent a car, please get with Athen and we will help arrange pick up and drop off from one of the South Texas locals.

Is log country cove pet friendly?

Answer

YES! If you would like to bring your animals for the weekend, be sure to rent one of the pet friendly cabins. We ask only bring well behaved pets as we will most likely not be the only residents at the resort for the weekend. We also ask to please keep your pets at the cabin the night of the wedding.

Can i bring a date?

Answer

Since each cabin holds a specific number of guests, please do not plan on bringing a plus one unless specifically instructed on your invite. If you have any questions about this or not sure if you received a plus one, please reach out to Athen and she will clarify for you.
