Yes. Hilltop House is situated at the top of a hill (a *hilltop*, if you will), with a parking lot at the bottom. Parking and rideshare drop off is at the bottom of the hill, with exception to those with accessibility concerns. You may walk the short distance from the parking lot up to the venue, or take the shuttle. The shuttle will operate for 30 minutes prior to the start of the ceremony, and during the last 30 minutes of the reception. The parking lot allows for only 50 cars. We encourage some of our guests to carpool if convenient, or to take advantage of rideshare options.
Yes. There are sloped concrete paths around the grounds that lead to the reception tent, bathroom facilities, and socializing areas. Some activities may take place on the grass and may be more difficult to reach with the use of walkers and wheelchairs. Should one want extra assistance, we have a plethora of strong attendees who can help-some of whom we have invited solely for their strength and brawn. (They do not know this. Could you be one of them?)
While the ceremony begins at 4:00pm, we recommend arriving by 3:45pm to ensure time to walk or take the shuttle from the parking lot to the ceremony.
This is a semiformal event and cocktail attire is appropriate.
We have decided to forgo a traditional wedding party, and are just excited to celebrate the day with all our friends and family! We'll bring the wedding, you bring the party!
