When should I book my hotel?

Answer

As soon as possible! With Labor Day weekend and the Michigan Renaissance Festival happening nearby, the hotels are expected to get booked up! See the travel page for recommended options.

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, but our wedding is an adults-only celebration. We hope the chance for a night off makes it a little easier! Your understanding means the world to us, and we can't wait to celebrate with you! The Sunday brunch is open to everyone including the kids! See the schedule page for more details!

Can I get an Uber or Lyft to the venue?

Answer

Due to the rural campground location, rideshare availability is very limited and unlikely to be reliable. We strongly recommend renting a car, arranging a designated driver, or coordinating rides with fellow guests. No shuttle service will be provided. Carpooling is encouraged.

What's the bar situation?

Answer

We will provide an open bar with beer, canned cocktails, and wine! We will also stock a fun variety of non-alcoholic options. If you have something specific you would like to bring, you are welcome to bring a cooler to the party!

How is the parking at the venue?

Answer

There is a sufficient amount of parking plus overflow available on site. The grounds are large, so keep an eye out for signage when you arrive to point you in the right direction. Heads up: parking areas are not paved, so please be mindful of how you're driving on the grounds. Carpooling is always a great idea if you can swing it!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 20 minutes before the ceremony begins. This gives you plenty of time to park, find your seat, and settle in before the big moment. We'd hate for you to miss it!

Can I take pictures throughout the ceremony?

Answer

We will be having an "unplugged" ceremony. We request that you turn off/silence all phones during the ceremony. We have hired a photographer to capture this special moment.

How do I coordinate a campground cabin stay?

Answer

Limited cabins are available for a select group of invited overnight guests. If you have been invited to stay, please reach out to coordinate details! For other overnight options in the area, please see the travel tab for details.

Are RVs allowed?

Answer

Unfortunately no. There are no RV hookups at the campground and RVs are not approved for the event. If this is something you're considering and would like to park it nearby, reach out to us and we'll do our best to help find a place to park it!
