In 2017, we crossed paths at the Detroit Fire Collective, a weekly Monday night community where people gather to practice flow props and spin fire. When Garrett became a Monday regular, a friendship quietly began to spark. Bonding over a shared love of the outdoors and the beautifully weird city of Detroit, something special started to grow. Over that first summer, we slowly fell in love. Starting with Sigur Rós as our first date, a camping trip to Appalachia to watch the Solar Eclipse, and an endless string of adventures that made it clear this was something unexpected and extraordinary. Since then we've explored Iceland, spent a month adventuring through Argentina, grown an abundant garden, built incredible careers, and became proud pet parents to one very beloved & double-jointed cat, Simon. With two massive families, an auspicious amount of mutual friends, a shared passion for travel, music, and showing up for life with the spirit of adventure, our journey grows bigger and better together. We've taken our time getting here. Intentionally, thoughtfully, and on our own terms. Which makes this moment all the more meaningful. Nine years in the making, we're tying the knot on our anniversary, in the great outdoors, with all of our favorite people. Let's celebrate!
