Josh and Meghan first met back in September of 2023 at their respective best friends' (Megan and Ryan Hawks) wedding. Unknown to Josh, Meghan was preparing to fly to Germany, just days after the ceremony. While working together during wedding prep and set-up, Josh and Meghan got to interact, and Josh felt the spark first. He asked Ryan about Meghan, but was devastated to learn that Meghan was allegedly in a serious relationship and also leaving the country for multiple years. (Of note: Meghan was in fact NOT in a serious relationship, but she did fly to Germany 3 days later). When Meghan decided in 2025 to change careers, she knew that the only place she wanted to be was back with her bestie in Colorado, especially after hearing that Megan and Ryan were expecting their adorable baby boy. Meghan was incredibly lucky that Megan and Ryan opened their home to her so she could house hunt while she was waiting for her furniture to be shipped back to the US. That first weekend staying in the Hawks home was also Megan and Ryan's gender reveal party. To no surprise, Josh was also invited. Megan had spent the entire morning hyping Josh up and telling Meghan that he would be a great person to date. Understandably, by the time the party started and Josh and his parents were the first guests to arrive, Meghan was VERY nervous. Luckily for both of them, that initial spark was still present (in addition to lots of meddling from Meg and Ryan with the seating chart), so Josh and Meghan were able to spend the party reconnecting and getting to know one another better. Because Josh is hopelessly clueless, Meghan ended up handing her phone to him with the New Contact page pulled up and told him to put his number in. From there, as they say, the rest is history. Meghan and Josh have been inseparable and are so incredibly overjoyed to be married in front of all of our friends and family. Our love is full of joy, peace, and innumerable giggles, and we cannot wait to invite you all to witness it for yourselves.
