If you make your way to Tijuana City, this is an excellent local hot spot - cheap drinks, great food & live music including banda and mariachi. Reservations are recommended but not required. Valet parking is available but taxi and Uber are easy and affordable options. We love ordering some palomas as drinks are 2 for 1 & a molcajete to share. El Nido
Our favorite breakfast destination in Rosarito. Parking is limited but the Rosarito Beach Hotel is only a short walk away and offers plenty of parking. There isn't a bad seat in the house, but we love to sit on the outdoor patio so we can enjoy the beautiful water feature. Try the chilaquiles rojos with huevos de codorniz {quail eggs} for an authentic Mexican breakfast. Nuestro destino favorito para el desayuno en Rosarito. El estacionamiento es limitado, pero el Hotel Rosarito está a pocos pasos y ofrece estacionamiento. No hay un mal asiento en la casa, pero nos encanta sentarnos en el patio al aire libre para que podamos disfrutar de la hermosa fuente de agua. Prueba los chilaquiles rojos con huevos de codorniz.
La Casa De La Langosta
Puerto Nuevo is well known amongst locals and tourists alike as a must stop for lobster. Although there are many restaurants to choose from, this is our personal favorite. Treat yourself to a michelada and indulge in lobster plates served with homemade flour tortillas, rice and beans. Afterwards, take a walk to shop for some souvenirs at one of the many stores nearby. Parking in this area is abundant. Puerto Nuevo es bien conocido entre los lugareños y turistas por igual como una parada obligada para la langosta. Aunque hay muchos restaurantes para elegir, este es nuestro favorito. Regálese una michelada y disfrute de platos de langosta servidos con tortillas de harina caseras, arroz y frijoles. La Guerrerense
Featured on Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations, this ceviche stand has gotten some serious buzz, and it is worth the hype. Katie's dad, the infamous Mike Clark, also always recommends this on his favorite foodie stops! We love the ceviche, specifically the guerrerense and the mixto. The salsas are all homemade and have some kick to them. Parking along the street is tricky but worth the hassle. Conocido por su fama en el programa de television "No Reservations" de Anthony Bourdain, este puesto de ceviche ha recibido mucha atención, y vale la pena. Finca Altozano
A farm to table restaurant situated in el Valle de Guadalupe that is set outside with beautiful scenery. Consider coming before sunset as finding this gem is challenging at night with only dirt roads at your disposal. Reservations are needed and can be made online or by phone - we'd recommend making them a few weeks ahead of time. Katie's personal favorite dish was the beef brisket au-jus and Jesse's personal favorite dish was the lamb birria. Un restaurante de granja a mesa situado en el Valle de Guadalupe, que se encuentra al air libre con vistas hermosas. Founded in 1888, Santo Tomas is Baja's oldest winery. It is one of our favorites, not only because we are using one of their beautiful venues but also because they have a great variety of wine that's tasty and inexpensive. Not to mention, they have certain wine tastings paired with their own chocolate! Fundada en 1888, Santo Tomás es la bodega más antigua de Baja California. Es uno de nuestros favoritos, no solo porque estamos usando uno de sus lugares para nuestra boda sino también porque tienen una gran variedad de vinos sabrosos y económicos. Sin mencionar, ¡tienen ciertas degustaciones de vinos combinadas con su propio chocolate!

If, you are not able to make it to the Valle de Guadalupe but still want to experience the wine of the oldest winery in Baja give the Ensenada location a try. The shop is situated right in front of our venue and offers the same tastings as the other location. Si no alcanza llegar al Valle de Guadalupe, pero aún desea experimentar el vino de la bodega más antigua de Baja, pruebe la ubicación de Ensenada. La tienda está situada justo en frente de nuestro lugar de boda y ofrece las mismas degustaciones que la otra ubicación.
Hacienda Guadalupe
One of the first wineries we visited in the Valle de Guadalupe and it is still one of our personal favorites. The winery offers an intimate setting with beautiful views of the valley from the restaurant terrace. Enjoy a meal at their restaurant or enjoy a wine tasting as you take in the spectacular views. Reservations for the restaurant are required. Una de las primeras bodegas que visitamos en el Valle de Guadalupe y sigue siendo uno de nuestros favoritos. La bodega ofrece un ambiente íntimo con vistas hermosas del valle desde la terraza del restaurante. Disfrute de una comida en su restaurante o disfrute de una degustación de vinos mientras disfrutan las vistas espectaculares. El restaurante requiere reservaciones.
Baron Balche
Tucked away in the Valle de Guadalupe this rustic winery is one of the few wineries in the Valle de Guadalupe that includes a tour of the winery along with their tasting. Baron Balche is always on our itinerary when we are bringing first timers. Escondida en el Valle de Guadalupe, esta bodega rústica es una de las pocas bodegas en el Valle de Guadalupe que incluye un recorrido por la bodega junto con su degustación. Barón Balche siempre está en nuestro itinerario cuando traemos a los novatos.
Las Nubes Winery
A young winery situated on top of a hill overlooking the valley offering one of the best views out of any winery. All of the wine is served chilled which is nice on a warm summer day. Our personal favorite wine is the Nebbiolo. Una bodega joven situada en la cima de una colina que domina el valle y ofrece una de las mejores vistas de cualquier bodega. Todo el vino se sirve frío, que es agradable en un día de verano. Nuestro vino favorito es el Nebbiolo.
L.A. Cetto
The most well known winery in the valley, L.A. Cetto offers the best quality wine for the most reasonable prices therefore expect large groups of visitors. Tours of the winery are available but are separate from their tastings. We are not white wine drinkers but their Chenin Blanc is a must try and a cheap souvenir. La bodega más conocida del valle, L.A. Cetto, ofrece el mejor vino de calidad a los precios más razonables, por lo que se esperan grandes grupos de visitantes. Los recorridos de la producción de vino están disponibles, pero no están incluidas con sus degustaciones. No somos bebedores de vino blanco, pero su Chenin Blanc es excelente y es un recuerdo barato.
