Frequently Asked Questions
Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Rehearsal Dinner- Cocktail Attire/Garden Party Attire. Ceremony & Reception- Formal Attire. Bright and vibrant colors are encouraged!

Question

Are Children Allowed?

Answer

We have only reserved seats for those listed on the invitation. Please reach out to us if you have any concerns!

Question

What elevation is Mount Princeton Hot Springs?

Answer

Nathrop, Colorado, sits at 7680 feet above sea level (more than a mile). We encourage our guests coming from out of town who are sensitive to high altitudes to drink lots of water and take aspirin if they experience headaches and/or nausea (FYI I'm not a doctor). Local convenience stores and outdoor outfitters do sell oxygen for those that want it. The higher altitude also causes alcohol to be absorbed FASTER by the body so please consume alcohol with care.

Question

What is the best way to get to the resort?

Answer

If travelling from Denver, we recommend taking HWY 285 south towards Buena Vista. Keep in mind that Friday and Sunday afternoons are very popular travel times for recreators in Colorado, which can lead to traffic so please plan accordingly. If travelling from Colorado Springs, take HWY 24 to Antero Junction, where you will jump on HWY 285 S.

Question

Do we need to stay at the resort?

Answer

No; there are various Air Bnb's, hotels, and campsites around Salida and Buena Vista if you don't want to stay on-site! However, we have secured a discounted room block that we hope you take advantage of! Please keep in mind Ubers in the area are non existent due to the remote nature of the venue.
