We're getting Married!

Est. with their first anniversary in 2018, each fall Gabe & Carli take a small vacation somewhere new to celebrate another year together and for their 3rd anniversary, Washington was chosen as the next destination to explore. During the planning process, knowing the most special place in the world to Carli was her grandparents home just 2 hours north of Seattle, Gabe suggested they spend part of the vacation in the area. Carli hadn't been back since after her Grampaw's passing in 2010 and although the home was now owned by a new family, she was excited to say a proper goodbye to the beautiful Puget Sound peninsula where she spent several weeks every summer since birth. Gabe found an adorable AirBnB 1/4 mile from her Grandparents' former property and they planned to spend the first morning of the vacation walking the secluded pebble beaches which the house loomed over. On the day of, the small sparsely populated peninsula was enveloped in grey clouds and light rain, unfazed they took off on foot to explore the beauty of the tall pine trees and lapping waters. After a trek through the dense bush to get to the quiet private beach and time spent strolling down the peaceful shores, Gabe began to set up his phone for Carli’s mandatory vacation picture. Little did she know he had actually set the camera up to record what was about to happen. Once he returned and they posed for the "picture", Gabe turned to Carli saying "I'm so happy I was able to see this special place which has so many memories for you and now I'd like to make one more” he then dropped to one knee revealing the gorgeous engagement ring she would later learn he had designed specially for her. So taken back by everything all Carli could get out was "REALLY?" and then a squeaky "Yeahhh!" The best part of it all? He captured every moment on video in perfect clarity and all with the gorgeous Puget Sound as their backdrop. To say the least Gabe definitely made the experience one they'll both never forget
