Flight

Auckland Airport, New Zealand

For our international guests flying in from overseas, please book your flight into Auckland Airport. From there, you have a few options to travel to the Tauranga area: 1. Rental Car: You can rent a car from Auckland Airport and drive south via State Highway 20 (SH20), connecting to SH2, and then onto SH29 to Tauranga. The drive takes approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. 2. Shuttle Bus or Private Transfer: Shuttle services and private transfers are available at the airport, offering direct drop-offs to your accommodation. 3. Domestic Flight: There are limited domestic flights from Auckland Airport to Tauranga, which take about 1 hour. From Tauranga Airport, it’s a short 15-minute taxi or shuttle ride to Mount Maunganui.
