Question

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP via the RSVP tab on this website by March 8th. Please note: Each person attending the wedding must RSVP under their name and choose their food selection. We just want to make sure that everyone is accounted for and has a seat!

Can I bring a plus one? What about my kids?

Answer

We please ask that guests are limited to those that are on the RSVP. We would love to celebrate with everyone, but unfortunately there is a space limitation. Thank you for your understanding!

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Having you attend our wedding is the greatest gift of all and we are looking forward to each moment. However, if you're looking for a wedding gift, we've registered online at Amazon. This can be found by clicking on the 'Registry' section on our wedding website, or searching either 'Terrence Mathis' or 'Ganiru Anunike' under the "Find a List or Registry" section on Amazon. There will also be a designated area at the venue for any cards/physical gifts!

What hotels are close by? Do you have a hotel block?

Yes! The Hampton Inn & Suites New Albany is a 2 minute drive (5 min walk!) away from the venue. Use the link below to book. What is the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is formal or traditional African attire.

Will the wedding be indoor or outdoor?

Answer

Mainly indoor! Our ~30 minute ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting) and the rest of the wedding will be indoor, in an air conditioned ballroom.

What does parking look like at the venue?

Answer

The venue has a very large, paved parking lot. Plenty of space for everyone!

What time will the wedding start and end?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 5:30pm, so please arrive to the venue 15 minutes prior. Our ceremony AND reception will all take place at The Estate at New Albany. Cocktail hour will begin at the conclusion of the ceremony, around 6:00pm and run for an hour. The reception will follow, and we will celebrate until 10:30pm. At that time, we will wrap up the dance floor & clean up!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes, there will be an open bar from 6pm-10:30pm serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that you put your phones and cameras away during the ceremony. Our wonderful photographer, Grace Davis, of Jenna Greenawalt Photography, will be capturing the moment and we would love for everyone to be fully engaged as our witnesses!
