The Grizzells

They first met in high school Forensics, where they quickly became close friends. Life pulled them in different directions - Josh joined the military, and Grace headed off to college. They tried to keep in contact, but time and distance did their thing...until March 24th, 2024. Out of the blue, Grace sent Josh a message just as he was returning from deployment. They met up in Blairsville to watch the sunset...and that's where everything changed. They have been inseparable ever since. (Even if Grace did deny they were dating at first...don't worry, she came around).

Grace had a feeling something special was coming - life was moving quickly, everything felt just right, and she was pretty sure a certain little box was nearby. Surprise...she was right. Josh had been carrying the ring with him through graduation, moving, and all the little adventures they shared in the weeks leading up to her birthday, waiting for just the right moment. On Grace's 21st, Josh planned a hike at Big 4 Trailhead - a place he had been wanting to show her for months. They reached the end of the trail, surrounded by quiet, beauty, and no one else but each other. Josh set up the camera to "take a picture," secretly hoping to catch it all on video. (Spoiler: the camera stopped recording as soon as he walked away...of course). But honestly, it couldn't have been more perfect. Just the two of them, tucked into the trees and mountains, in a moment that felt like their own little world.

Grace and Josh are best friends who turn even the simplest moments into their favorite memories. Whether they're out at the driving range, wandering through thrift stores (with maybe just one more thing they don't need), hiking somewhere new, or turning a regular grocery run into a full-on date, they are happiest doing life side by side. Big foodies at heart, they love trying new restaurants and hunting down the best bites wherever they go: i.e., Taco Bell. From sunsets to shopping carts, their favorite place is wherever the other one is.
