FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony beings promptly at 5pm. Please arrive after 4pm but before 4:45pm so you can take time to get to the ceremony location (there will be golf carts with drivers for anyone who needs assistance) and enjoy the views.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Question

Is this an "unplugged wedding"?

Answer

Yes and no. We ask everyone to stay seated while the wedding party arrives and walks down the aisle. There will be an opportunity for guests to take photos of the bride and groom at the alter before the ceremony begins. Once this has ended, please put away your phones. We want to see your lovely faces in the background of our photos and not your phones blocking you. Please keep your phones away until after the recessional.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

We expect the weather to be between 70-75 degrees and semi-humid. It can get a little chilly at night (mid 50s-60s).

Question

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be at 2400 on The River. You will not need to travel between locations to attend the ceremony and reception. There is plenty of free parking for all guests on site.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors. The reception has both indoor and outdoor options but dinner will be inside.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes!

Question

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Answer

Please RSVP by March 1st, 2024. No need to mail any RSVP - you can do it all online at zola.com/wedding/gameoftillerys

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes! There will be time for guests to take photos of the bride and groom just before the ceremony begins. We do ask that once this time passes, guests put away their phones until after the ceremony concludes. We encourage you to post pictures on your social media channels, our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #gameoftillerys so we can keep track of all of the pictures!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your guests' name is listed on your invite and when you RSVP, then yes! Your invitations will be made out to "[Your Name and Guest]" if a plus one has been given to you.
