We met in the most romantic way possible... at H-E-B. He worked in the deli. Destiny worked in floral. Our departments were maybe ten feet apart-star crossed lovers separated by cold cuts and bouquets. We didn't fall in love right away (tragic, we know). Instead, we kept orbiting each other through the same friend group, house parties, and social gatherings where sparks quietly did their thing. The timing wasn't quite right... until it very much was. On Destiny's birthday in March 2020, while she was off celebrating in Colorado, Josh officially shot his shot with the now-iconic line: "Careful out there girl, you're melting the snow." Reader, Destiny was swooned. From there, it was flirty glances in passing, "just happening" to hangout more, and an undeniable something that kept pulling us together. By June 2020, we were officially together, and by July, he was already in love (his words, not mine.. but I agree). Since then, it's been laughter, friendship, love and a whole lot of life together. What started between a deli counter and a floral cooler turned into the best partnership we could've asked for. The rest, as they say, is history-and we can't wait to write the next chapter together.
