Things To Do
Cholula, Mexico, is a designated Pueblo Magico (Magic Town). It is known for its archaeological park, where it has the world’s largest pyramid! It is also known as the “City of Churches” with many religious sites in its area. Max and I fell in love with Cholula during our first visit. It is a beautiful town with so much history and beautiful sites.
Puebla is a larger historic city. It is a UNESCO World Heritage site filled with beautiful architecture, cuisine, and culture. The city is surrounded by volcanoes like the Popocatepetl. It is also the birthplace of Cinco de Mayo, and is known for food like mole poblano, Chiles en nogada, and camotes. The famous and beautiful Talavera pottery is also from there.
There's a lot to explore in Cholula and Puebla, so we have created a travel guide with recommendations!
