The Wedding Website of Jessie Gallimore and Michael Wakely
We could not imagine walking down the aisle without these wonderful people.

Sarah Gallimore

Maid of Honor

When Jessie thinks of Sarah, she thinks of home, laughing until it hurts, and chosen friendship. Sarah is, hands down, the best sister and friend Jessie could ever ask for. She is compassionate, selfless, dedicated, and fearless. She has spent so much of her free time planning Jessie's Bachelorette party this year and has not complained once. NOT ONCE! Jessie cannot wait to see what she has planned and she has no doubt it will be an unforgettable weekend. Jessie couldn't possibly imagine life without Sarah... she asks her advice about everything and trusts her judgement more than anyone else. Cheers to the best sister, friend, and MAID OF HONOR!

Nate Baldwin

Best Man

Nate and Michael have been best friends since high school. They were so close they ended up being roommates in Madison for many years and both consider their time living at 420 West Gorham the "good old days". Their friendship never wavered when Michael and Jessie moved to Jacksonville. He has visited a couple of times and they always connect back home around the holidays. Nate is a welcomed guest at the Gallimore house; everyone is always excited when he comes around. He is so important to the couple and they are truly thankful for the constant companionship, support, and humor that Nate brings. He is the clear person to hold the title of Best Man.

Louie Seraphin

Bridesmaid

Louie started working at Jessie's school her second year in Jacksonville. When Louie joined the staff, work was so much more bearable... dare I say...fun? Jessie taught 5th Grade Science and Louie taught 5th Grade Humanities, so they spent a lot of time together. They always joke that they are the same person- sharing their love of true crime, cats, food, working with kids, and gossip! Louie became a fast friend but also a dear one. Jessie is so thankful for all the fond memories she will keep forever and dreads the day she moves away from her best friend. I love you so much, Rithloude!

Ben Wakely

Groomsman

Ben is Michael’s brother and his oldest friend. They grew up together in Texas and Michael remembers carrying Ben piggy back in their backyard pool. When they moved across the country to Wisconsin, they were each others support systems. They’ve been gaming buddies for seemingly forever! Ben is one of the kindest souls you’ll ever meet and doesn’t have a single mean bone in his body. Ben LOVES Figaro and Roo (J and M's cats) and it will be so much fun to have him come visit when they move to the Rockford area.

Morgan Woods

Bridesmaid

Morgan is one of the WAGs- a close knit group of girlies that are so much fun to hangout with and who can relate to the shenanigans of being the wife (or girlfriend) of a medical resident. There are so many reasons why Jessie loves having Morgan as a friend. She is hilarious. She is a genuine person who truly cares about people. She's drop dead gorgeous but would never ever brag. She lifts people up whether she has known them for a long time or met them two seconds ago. She's THAT GIRL everyone wants to be friends with. If Morgan is in the room, you know you are going to be having the best time.

Matt Gallimore

Groomsman

Matt and Jessie are 8 years apart, but that hasn't stopped them from being close. Jessie thinks of him as her sweet baby brother (lil buddy), but she also recognizes that he's the coolest guy she knows. While Matt is Jessie’s brother, his relationship with Michael makes it seem like they’re already related- The constant trash talk between his Iowa Hawkeyes and the couples’ Wisconsin Badgers (not to mention Packers/Bears and Bucks/Bulls) never gets old. The three of them play Xbox together all the time, and they’ve had many a poker night whenever Michael and Jessie visit. He’s a guy who is easy to love.

Ashley Piekarski

Bridesmaid

Ashley and Jessie met in kindergarten at Montini Catholic School. They became quick friends! They had matching costumes for many Halloweens, traded lip glosses, played on the same sports teams, ate WAY too many tomato basil wheat thins at sleepovers, and they have remained friends their entire lives. It was really special to ask Ashley to be a bridesmaid because it was a tribute to their life long friendship. Jessie is so thankful because she knows that Ashley will always be in her corner no matter what.

Andrew Olson

Groomsman

Andrew is Jessie's cousin, who is more like a brother. He is so tightly knit into Jessie's identity that he is a staple friend to anyone she knows. Andrew met Michael when he came for his annual Halloween trip to Madison and they quickly became friends. Michael considers him one of the easiest people to talk with and appreciates his bar tending skills (he makes a mean old fashioned). The couple is so thankful to have him stand with them.

Grace Miller

Bridesmaid

Grace is Jessie's little cousin and they share a LOT of childhood memories. She is personable, witty, and creative. Jessie is so happy she will be the content creator throughout her wedding experience. She's a TikTok queen, so it had to be her. Grace is a fur momma to the best pups in this world- Gus and Woody. She attends SIU and is currently student teaching, which goes to show that Jessie and Grace have quite a bit in common. Jessie is thrilled that they will be back in the same state soon and she's looking forward to pool days and sleepovers.

Brandon Bannon

Groomsman

Brandon is a really important person to the couple. He is the longtime boyfriend of Jessie's sister Sarah. They all bonded during a trip to the island of St. John just before the pandemic started (lots of iguana hunting and BBCs). They have spent lots of holiday seasons together with Michael and Brandon having had an amazing journey integrating into the Gallimore family. His favorite animal is the traditional mallard. He sticks up for those he loves, and Michael and Jessie are so lucky to have him standing up with them on their wedding day.

Emily Zagorski

Bridesmaid

Emily and Jessie met their sophomore year of college. GO BADGERS BABY! Emily is a momma bear. Her love languages are cooking, cards in the mail, and playing with hair. Emily is always down to sip mimosas at brunch (ahh the good old days). She gives witchy vibes, has every shade of lipstick, and is a hell of a dancer. She is a badass paralegal in Minneapolis, and she is always arguing for what's right- at work and otherwise. She is the ultimate hype queen- always making sure other women feel important and beautiful which is something really special. Emily and Jessie will always, ALWAYS be friends.

Austin Hays

Groomsman

Michael has known Austin since high school, although they’ve become closer and closer since graduating. Austin was one of Michael’s roommates when Covid struck, and they survived the pandemic together within the confines of their Madison apartment (420 West). Austin is always down for binging an anime with Michael or for a Disney movie night if Jessie is around. Just be careful if you play him in beer pong, and make sure he’s supervised around glass tables. All in all, he’s a really cool guy.

Abbie Mannenbach

Bridesmaid & Officiant

Abbie has two roles in the wedding- bridesmaid and officiant! She's just that good. Abbie and Jessie met while they both taught at Sherman Middle School in Madison. Abbie is a wonderful educator. Jessie and Abbie share a love for happy-hour-margs, the Hillary Duff movie, musicals, and getting creative! They've been to wineries, orchards, and even went on a short trip to Nashville, Tennessee (shout out to Pf'anique)! When Jessie and Michael moved to Florida, Abbie came to visit their new city twice and both trips were so much fun. She is also a phenomenal baker... and I mean... PHENOMENAL!!

Jordan Jensen

Groomsman

Jordan is a longtime friend of both Michael and Jessie all the way back to their college days. They would frequently go out for brunch on the weekends (shoutout to Brocach and The Post). Brunch with the Madison gang was laughing over mimosas for hours. Such great memories! Jordan is also an official Gallimore Girl for Gallimore Girls Photography! Jessie, Sarah, and Jordan shot wedding photography together and it was an incredible experience. If you forget his name you can always call him Beef Stick.... or Julia.
