Woodstock Square Historic District
The Woodstock Square is one of Jessie's favorite places on Earth! Its charming cobblestone roads and historic architecture take you back in time. There are little shops, cafes, bars, and restaurants for you to enjoy there. On Saturday from 8AM to 1PM you can find the Square bustling during it's Farmer's Market! There is also a movie theatre located in the Square!
The Vixen
The Vixen is a relatively new concert venue right in McHenry, the hometown where Jessie grew up! There are lots of fun shows and the bar is a very fun vibe! You can pregame at The Gambler, the local bar a few doors down. You can also find D.C. Cobbs on the same street- a delicious restaurant known for their burgers and brews.
Three Oaks Recreation Area
Want to include a beach day in your weekend? Stop by Three Oaks Beach in Crystal Lake! Alternate between catching rays and dipping into the pristine waters. You can rent paddle boards, sailboats, rowboats, canoes, and kayaks. This is also a great spot to fish!
Chicago
Chicago is close enough to our venue that you could include it in your weekend! There are endless foods to taste, sights to see, and people to watch in downtown Chicago. You can check out the House of Blues, see a show in the Chicago Theatre District, take a ferris wheel ride at Navy Pier or enjoy Millenium Park! Taking the Metra train from the Woodstock Station to Chicago Station takes about 1hr 30 mins. You can drink alcohol on the train! Driving from Woodstock to Chicago takes about 1hr 10mins.
