We met at Rutgers University in 2008 (Kevin's sophomore year, Amanda's freshman year) when we both lived in Brett Hall. We stayed friends even after graduating, and started dating in 2013 while Kevin was back at Rutgers for grad school, reconnecting over our love of romance languages. Since then, we've traveled across the US and Europe, earned our respective graduate degrees on two coasts, and settled into life on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. We got engaged in October 2019, when Kevin proposed in the middle of a 10 day long trip across Belgium, Paris, and London, finding an opportune moment one evening in front of the lights of the Eiffel Tower. Although Covid postponed our plans for a few months, we look forward to you finally joining us this November in celebrating our wedding in front of our other favorite skyline.
