Amanda was 16 years old when she first met little ole Alex..when he was at the young age of 12!! Odd...right? Well in case you were wondering how they met, that would be because she decided to become friends with his sister Mika. The rest is history...the end. JUST KIDDING! Fast forward to 2023 when Amanda gets a random Facebook message from Alex saying "Hows it goin"..how original. Haha! That message turned into exchanging phone numbers and snapchat names then progressed into facetime calls every night. On a random morning, Alex asked her to hang out. Being very exhausted from working her 6th overnight shift in a row and having some errands to do, she agreed. So I guess you could consider this to be "the first date"! Lunch at El Rancherito, going to get gas in her car, and even sat with her while she got her nails done; even though all he did was complain that the nail salon smelled like garlic bread since it was next door to Domino's, haha! Fast forward to 2 years later and a vacation to Colorado was getting ready to be the best trip ever; she'd never expect on what was happening. 2nd day there and everyone decided to go to Seven Falls in Colorado Springs, Colorado. A trail that has a BEAUTIFUL waterfall you can see at the end! Amanda's sister-n-law took a photo of the two of them (or so Amanda was thinking was happening) but as she stepped away, she hears "hey you...will you marry me?"...Alex was down on one knee and showing her the ring she always knew she wanted. They both have had a ton of ups and downs in life, but the one thing they do know is that the rest of their lives will be spent with each other..forever and always.
