David and Courtney originally met in high school but never hung out because they were in different social groups. Courtney was very studious while David loved the spotlight he got from his amateur boxing career! Their story began after their first year in college. In December of 2015, Courtney had discovered a new found love for Dutch Bros! When she first went through the line, she recognized one of the broistas. David was serving up coffee and smiles when he locked eyes with Courtney. He made his way over to say hi, and they chatted for a few minutes. After a few more visits, David asked Courtney for her number so he can take her out, and she was all for it. After David got Courtney's phone number, she really wanted to impress him. David was scheduled to work Christmas morning so what better way to impress him than to bring him a little surprise.. Courtney showed up to Dutch Bros on Christmas morning with a tin full of homemade windmill-shaped sugar cookies (the Dutch Bros logo)! What better way to David's heart than food! The two ended up going on a few dates in January, and after introducing Courtney to his parents and realizing she was the woman of his dreams, David decided to ask Courtney to be his girlfriend!
