We invite you to dress polished yet relaxed. For our whimsical romantic celebration, we kindly ask guests to avoid black. For the guys button-downs, nice jeans, khakis, or slacks are perfectly appropriate. Ladies, think late-summer by the lake- midi, jumper, or maxi dresses in soft, playful textures patterns and colors. Our ceremony will take place outdoors on the lakefront lawn at 4:30PM, followed by an indoor reception. Layers and comfortable footwear are encouraged. Yes, Garwoods has a parking lot attached to their venue. There will also be street parking and public parking at the boat house.
Late August in Tahoe is typically warm during the day (mid 70s) with cooler evenings (40s). Expect sunshine in the daytime and noticeable temperature drop after sunset-layers are recommended.
