Maid of Honor
Chalsey and Moriah met in preschool and have been inseparable since. Through many life changes including moving to new towns, taking different career paths, and building lives with their own partners, their bond has remained strong.
Best Man
Bridesmaid
Ali and Moriah became best friends throughout middle and high school. Their friendship blossomed through watching Nailed It and baking their own monstrous creations, drinking wine while coloring or painting, and late nights with chips and cheese dip.
Groomsman
Bridesmaid
Paige and Moriah met at the Columbia County fair, where they both showed horses. Several years into showing, Moriah started taking jumping lessons from Paige. From there on, the two can be seen eating s’mores dip, riding at the barn, and playing with Paige’s kids
Groomsman
Bridesmaid
Alex and Moriah met in college where they bonded over food, mental breakdowns, and classes that really didn’t make sense to either of their majors. On the very day that Moriah proposed to Gage, Alex's partner proposed to her!
Officiant
Sam is Moriah's oldest brother. The siblings grew up spending time outdoors with their brother Justin riding horses, showing livestock at Columbia County Fair, deer hunting, and much more. Throughout the years Sam tolerated Moriah tagging along with his shenanigans. Moriah is honored that Sam is officiating her marriage to the love of her life.
Flower Woman
Moriah and Ashley met through Moriah's brother Sam. Moriah and Ashley bonded over their dogs Maybelle and Luna, as well as hiking at Devils Lake and Pewit's Nest. Ashley spent a summer helping Moriah through a college math course (she's the real MVP of passing that class). Moriah is grateful that Ashley will be walking Maybelle down the isle on her and Gage's special day.
Father of the Bride
Moriah's father has been there for her through all of life's crazy changes, and she couldn't have done it without his unwavering support. From teaching her how to change a tire, how to drive stick (not that she remembers!), and how to use her hands and tools to build things, he has always been one of her biggest supporters without judgement whether she failed or succeeded. He is currently enjoying his retirement while still staying active as the DVFD's fire chief, working side jobs with his brother, and organizing and attending numerous car shows.
Mother of the Bride
Moriah's mother is the reason that Moriah is "that crazy horse girl". As soon as Moriah was two years old, her mother was letting her ride one of their family horses. Throughout the years Moriah's mother has instilled a great work ethic, determination (some may say stubbornness), sass, and valuable life lessons into Moriah. Commonly referred to as "Annie Mom" at the county fair, as not to confuse any of the other moms, Ann supported Moriah through some of her greatest equestrian accomplishments. Moriah's mother is also currently enjoying retirement by driving her pony Tony, gardening, and raising goats.
