You will arrive at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) in Bali, Indonesia. 🛂 Visa on Arrival (VoA) • Most travelers are eligible for a VoA. • Fee: IDR (Indonesian Rupiah - the local currency) 500,000 per person • Payment: Payment can usually be made by card or cash including the following options: - Online before departure (card only - recommended to save time) - Upon arrival at the airport • Other travel requirements: make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your date of entry. Note that there is no mandatory travel insurance or vaccination (if you travel from Europe or Australia). 🚖Airport Transfer After exiting the airport, many local drivers will offer private transportation services. It’s recommended to compare prices before accepting. You may negotiate the fare, as prices offered initially can be higher. Alternatively, you can use official airport taxis for fixed and more transparent pricing.

Transportation and Travel Tips

Important note: Bali often experiences heavy traffic, so we recommend allowing extra buffer time when travelling. Transportation to Wedding Venues: - Balinese Wedding (Taman Prakerti Bhuana): about 1 hr 30 min from the airport. - Intimate Wedding (Uluwatu Cottages): about 1 hour from the airport. Please note the venues are in different areas of Bali, so plan your travel accordingly if you wish to attend both events. 🚗🛵Getting Around Bali We recommend downloading 'GOJEK' or 'GRAB' on your phone. These apps offer convenient motorbike and car rides (similar to Uber) and are great for short trips. For longer sightseeing days, hiring a private driver or tour is often the easiest option. 🌴Travel Tips Bali offers a wonderful mix of culture, beaches, nature, and food. Popular experiences include visiting temples, exploring rice terraces in Ubud, relaxing on beaches in Uluwatu or Canggu, and enjoying beautiful sunsets. Please respect local customs when visiting temples (dress modestly and follow local guidance). Don’t forget to enjoy Bali’s amazing food scene - from local dishes like nasi goreng to great cafés and beachside restaurants. While exploring, be mindful of “Bali Belly” - we recommend drinking bottled water and choosing reputable restaurants.
