Question

Have plans changed as a result of COVID-19?

Answer

Sadly, yes. With COVID-19 cases still rising there is no way we can safely host a celebration with the number of people that we had originally planned. As a result, we are making the difficult decision to limit the day of our wedding to a very small group of family and friends. We are exploring the option of live streaming our ceremony online so those interested can watch. We are also thinking about ways to hold a celebration in the future, if and when conditions begin to improve. We would love more than anything to be able to celebrate with you all when it is safe to do so. We will continue to communicate details as they become available. What's the parking situation like at the reception?

Answer

The two hotel blocks we reserved are three and five blocks away from the reception venue, so we recommend leaving your car parked there and walking if possible. Otherwise, there is a parking garage nearby at Target Center Ramp C. You can leave cars parked in this garage overnight so it is also an option if you'd like to skip hotel valet. There will also be a Lyft/Uber code that guests can use to help get from the venue to wherever your bed is - both safely and affordably. More details coming!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Yes! We would love to see as many pictures as possible from our special day. When posting to social media please use the hashtag, #justbecamejacobs so that we can easily find all the wonderful pictures you take!

Are kids invited?

Answer

Yes and no. While we love children, we have a limited amount of seating at the reception venue and a lot of loved ones we want to invite. Children are welcome at the ceremony, but we unfortunately cannot accommodate them at the reception. Please contact us if you need help arranging babysitting, we may be able to arrange a group sitter.
