Parker and Gaby met through mutual friends. Gaby had invited her then friend to the Greek festival held annually in Stockton. She was excited to try authentic falafel’s! That day Parker had gone to a baby shower and played volleyball all day there, which tired him out. He had made a decision to not go to the Greek Festival that night with the baby shower party, but they encouraged him to go and said, “who knows, maybe you’ll meet someone tonight.” The group met up with Gaby at the festival. When Parker first saw Gaby he was sharing donut balls with Alex (Groomsman) and he was so overwhelmed by her beauty that he nervously kept eating his donut balls. By that point, he was just stealing the donuts from Alex really. After the Greek festival, the group of friends decided to go to Applebee’s, and Gaby joined as well. When it was time to pick a seat, Parker made sure he sat next to Gaby by deterring his friends from choosing the seat next to her. Once at the table, Parker ordered a beer and an ice cream sundae with whipped cream (not at the same time). After Parker was done with the sundae he decided to dump the whip in his remaining beer since he wasn’t going to drink it anymore. Gaby noticed what Parker had done and turns to him and says, “Wow Parker, I didn’t know you changed your career. I didn’t know you were a NURSE, because your nursing that beer.” Being challenged by this statement, Parker decided to drink the beer with whip to prove he was still in fact a true attorney. It was at this very moment that Gaby knew Parker was different and that he would never back down from a challenge. Parker knew that she was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, with a wonderfully vibrant personality. He came to know her as the one true person who he could always trust, count on, and love.
