EARTHY TONES WELCOME What is earthy tones you say? Terracotta, Greens, Browns. Just do your thing but don't wear a wedding dress. If you are still stumped on the whole earthy colors, and are a visual person- give it a google. No suit jackets, unless you dig being warm. Our guys will be in pants, and light dress shirts with ties. Heels? We don't think heels will be a problem, but our ceremony is outdoors. If heels are a problem at least your not the one tripping down the aisle. Think desert hot during the day, low 70's at night. You'll want to bring your sunglasses. (Sun is bright, Don't forget your sunnies)
We cannot wait to celebrate with our closest people in an intimate setting rather than a big bash that is over in the blink of an eye. Our guest list was up to 170 humans and that felt overwhelming and not really our style.
A car is a great form of transportation and will save you blisters but if you don't want the added expense there is plenty of ride-shares like Uber and Lyft functioning in the area. Either way we wont leave you hanging and will have shuttles to the ceremony site, and reception.
Please see our "Things to do" Tab on this site.
See the problem here is with 50 people, if we have people standing next to us during our ceremony there will be no one in the seats. (How lame would that look) You are all special to us, that is how you made the list of 50.
We will be having a “brews after I do’s” at a local brewery late October once we are home and have tied the knot. We plan to have 170 people here, so if you can’t make our small ceremony with only 50 guests don’t sweat it.. they’ll be a time and place to celebrate closer to home!
The State Park doesn't care what day we get married on, We do. October 2nd 2025 was the day we got engaged, so we figured we would keep the date alive. Doing it on a Friday means we get the whole weekend to hangout with our people. We know some of you will have to take off work, and we appreciate you taking the time away from work the celebrate us! We work to have fun, right?
We love all of the bigs and littles in our lives, but we've decided our wedding won't have kids. You are welcome to bring your kid along for travel if you are traveling with someone who can watch them during wedding hours.
I'm sure this does't feel fair right? Especially because all of your kids mean the world to us. (Kids and Dogs over adults all day) Carter, Tessa, Easton and Baby Jennings will be at the ceremony, but will be wrangled up by reception time.
It is open bar, feel free to bring cash for tips but that's all you'll need.
