Bangor International Airport (BGR)

Bangor is the closest largest airport to Bar Harbor, servicing direct flights from Philadelphia. It is approximately a 1 hour 15-minute drive to Bar Harbor from here. The easiest way to get around is a rental car. There are options for a taxi/uber from the airport, however Ubers are limited to non-existent in Bar Harbor There are some options for the downeast transportation bus that will take you to Bar Harbor, however the timetable for October has not yet been posted and you will have a short walk from the bus stop to the hotel.

Hancock County–Bar Harbor Airport

Hancock County–Bar Harbor Airport is a smaller airport only 25 minutes away from Bar Harbor with rental cars and bus transportation available. However, only direct flights from Boston fly to this airport therefore you will have a layover in Boston if you choose to fly here.
