How has the pandemic affected the wedding plans?

Answer

Despite the pandemic, we are continuing our wedding as planned. We are fortunate to have a large outdoor venue (please see next FAQ for more details on venue) where guests can safely adhere to social distancing guidelines. Face masks will be required for all guests and vendors.

Is the venue outdoors?

Answer

Spring Lake Events is located on 70 acres of land and features an outdoor area for ceremonies, an open-air pavilion for receptions, an outdoor fireplace, and a screened-in boat house. Where is the venue located?

Answer

Spring Lake Events is located 50 miles West of Atlanta in Rockmart, Georgia (roughly an hour drive from downtown Atlanta). Guests will be responsible for transportation to and from the venue.

When is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will take place on October 18th, 2020 promptly at noon. Please plan to arrive shortly beforehand. Brunch and dancing will follow.

Transportation to Venue?

Answer

Guests will be responsible for transportation to and from the wedding venue. Spring Lake Events is located 50 miles West of Atlanta in Rockmart, Georgia (roughly an hour drive from downtown Atlanta)

How are food and beverages being served?

Answer

All servers and bartenders will be wearing masks and gloves. All drinks and food will be served outdoors or in an open-air environment. A dedicated server will be plating food from the buffet to minimize handling.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Formal to Semi-formal attire. Please note that the venue is outdoors so high heals are not recommended.
