Question

Where can we stay?

Answer

We’ve listed several hotel recommendations on the "Travel" tab to help you find a comfortable place to stay in Barranquilla. These hotels are located in the city and not directly near the wedding venue, so transportation will be arranged for our guests on the wedding day. If you have any questions about transportation or need suggestions, please reach out to the Mother of the Bride, Shannon Wilkins, who will be happy to help coordinate and guide you.

Question

Can I use my phone/data in Colombia? Is there Wi-Fi at the venue or Airbnb?

Answer

Yes! Most international phones work, but check with your carrier about international roaming. Buying a local SIM card is also an option if you want more affordable data. Yes, both the venue and Airbnbs have Wi-Fi, but we recommend having offline maps or translation apps just in case.

Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will take place on January 6, 2027, in Puerto Colombia. The reception follows in the same venue in a beautiful garden setting.

Question

Is the ceremony and reception outdoors?

Answer

Yes! The ceremony and reception will be outdoors, but don’t worry — there is a room with AC available in case it gets too hot. Comfortable shoes are recommended for dancing!

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

We’d love guests to wear lighter colors (think soft blues, sand, and pastels). No white, please. Lighter colors are preferred if possible to match our photos and the venue vibe.

Question

Will there be food and drinks?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have a full dinner served at 7 PM during the reception. In addition, there will be smaller bites and drinks available during the cocktail hour and later in the evening, so everyone can enjoy throughout the night.
