We never expected our lives to change in a simple college classroom, but that’s where everything quietly began. What felt like an ordinary moment turned into the start of something extraordinary. We learned we were both soccer players, but it wasn’t the sport that brought us together — it was the comfort, the ease, and the feeling of being understood. Between rushing to class, long practices, and those late-night conversations that made the world feel small and safe, our friendship slowly became love. Since then, we’ve built a life we’re proud of. We finished school, moved from our first little apartment to our first real house, and somehow ended up with two dogs who fill our days with chaos, joy, and more love than we imagined. We’ve grown through challenges, celebrated milestones, and learned how to show up for each other in every season — even the hard ones. Through it all, we’ve become each other’s home. One of the most beautiful parts of our story has been watching our cultures and families blend. His culture has become part of who I am, and mine has become part of him. Our families fit together effortlessly — holidays, dinners, and celebrations are filled with warmth, shared traditions, and so much laughter. It feels like everything we came from was meant to meet right here. After all these years of growing, learning, and loving, we’re so grateful to stand on the edge of this next chapter.
