What time should I arrive at the venue for the wedding?

Answer

Please arrive at 4pm. The wedding will commence at 4:30pm.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Please wear formal attire. As this is a spring wedding, florals and colorful clothing are encouraged. Note that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be held on grass so you may want to leave the stilettos at home.

How far is the venue from the hotel block?

Answer

The Stable at Bluemont Vineyards is a 30 minute drive from Tru by Hilton One Loudon Hotel.

Will there be a shuttle provided for guests?

Answer

Yes, a shuttle will depart at 3:30pm the Tru by Hilton. Returning, an early bus will depart the venue at 9pm and a final bus after the reception at 10:15pm.

Do I need to stay at the hotel in the room block in order to use the shuttle?

Answer

No and if you are not staying at the hotel, we highly recommend that you Uber or drive to One Loudoun and take the shuttle to the venue. Free parking is easily available nearby the shuttle pick up and drop off and Ubers are easy to find from there. Please indicate in the RSVP whether you intend to use the shuttle so we can more accurately book the right size bus for everyone.

Is parking available at the venue?

Answer

Yes, the venue provides parking for guests. Please be aware that unless you require an accessible parking space, there is a short walk from the parking lot to the venue. Please let us know if you need a closer, more accessible space. Parking overnight is permitted if needed and guests can retrieve their cars the next morning.

Can I Uber or Lyft to the wedding?

Answer

Depending on where you are staying, you may be able to take an Uber or Lyft to the wedding, but you will not be able to find an Uber or Lyft to take you home. It may be wise to consult with a local taxi ahead of time or make use of the shuttle bus we are providing.

Is the wedding inside or outside?

Answer

Weather permitting, the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside on grass, while the reception will be indoors.
