FAQs

Question

Can I take pictures during the wedding?

Answer

Yes — with a few simple guidelines so our photographer can do her best work for all of us. BEFORE the processional: snap away freely. DURING the ceremony: please keep phones down and be present with us. AFTER the kiss: all phones welcome again — celebrate with us! DURING the group photography (10:30am-12pm): absolutely encouraged. THROUGHOUT the reception: photograph everything you love. We will have a QR code displayed at the ceremony and reception. Scan it to upload your photos directly to our shared wedding album — no app download, no login required, just scan and share. The album will be available for guests to view and download for 90 days after the wedding. TLDR: phones down during the ceremony, cameras out everywhere else. ♥

Question

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

October 15, 2026 — and we mean it, lovingly and firmly. As a destination wedding with a set guest count, we have to confirm numbers with our venue by a hard deadline. If we don't hear from you by October 10th, we will assume you are unable to join us and your spot will not be held. If life gets complicated and you think you might miss the deadline, reach out to us directly before October 15th and we will figure it out together. After that date, we truly cannot make exceptions regardless of how much we love you and want you there.

Question

Do I need a theme park ticket to attend the wedding?

Answer

No! The Walt Disney World Swan is a hotel on Disney property, but the ceremony and reception are hotel events. No theme park ticket is required to attend. If you would like to visit the parks while you are in Orlando, tickets can be purchased separately at disneyworld.com.

Question

Is the Swan on Disney property? What does that mean for guests?

Answer

Yes! The Swan is owned by Marriott but located on Walt Disney World property in the Epcot Resort Area. Guests staying at the Swan receive many of the same benefits as guests at Disney-owned hotels: early theme park entry, free transportation to all four parks, and complimentary Friendship boat service to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios directly from the Swan dock.

Question

Is there a hotel room block for guests?

Answer

A small room block at the Swan is reserved for immediate family and the wedding party. If this is you, Gabi and Daniel will send you a direct booking link. All other guests are welcome to book any hotel they prefer. We recommend the hotels listed on our Travel page, with the Drury Plaza as our top pick for value.

Question

What is the best way to get to the venue from off-property hotels?

Answer

Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) is the easiest and most flexible option from most hotels. Budget approximately $12-20 each way per car. Guests at Pop Century or Art of Animation can take the free Skyliner gondola to EPCOT, then the Friendship boat to the Swan dock — scenic and free!

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Resort Casual. Think sundresses, linen, tropical prints, and your most comfortable nice sandals. We are celebrating outdoors in January in Florida — looking beautiful and feeling good matters more than formality. Flats encouraged. Hawaiian shirts welcomed with open arms. Out of respect for the bride, please avoid wearing white, ivory, or champagne as your primary color.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Yes! Children are welcome at the ceremony and reception. We do ask that parents be prepared to step out with little ones if needed during the ceremony. Disney-area hotels are exceptionally family-friendly, and babysitting services are available through most Disney-area hotels if parents would like an adults-only evening.

Question

Is there parking at the Swan?

Answer

Yes, the Swan has both self-parking and valet parking available. Parking fees apply. If you are staying at an official Disney or Disney Springs Area hotel, you receive complimentary parking at the theme parks during your stay. For the wedding day, rideshare drop-off is also easy and convenient.

Question

What is happening on Monday, January 18?

Answer

We will be spending the day at EPCOT and would love company! It is completely optional — no formal plans, no required schedule. January 18 is also MLK Day and EPCOT is in the middle of its International Festival of the Arts, which is absolutely beautiful. Park tickets are not included — each guest needs their own.
