10:00 am - 11:00 am
Semi-formal
Our ceremony will be held at the Crescent Terrace at the Walt Disney World Swan, overlooking the waterway in the Epcot Resort Area. Guests staying at the Swan can walk directly to the venue. Guests staying at nearby hotels, please allow extra time for transportation. See the Travel page for detailed directions from each hotel. January weather in Florida can range from 50°F to 80°F with a slight possibility of rain(with a past 10 year average on our date of 66°F). In the event of rain, the venue will be indoors. Plan to bring a shawl or sweater for air conditioning or a slight chill outdoors. In the event of mild weather, the wedding will take place on the outdoor venue—West Crescent Terrace.
11:00 am
A relaxed, intimate morning celebration to toast the newlyweds. We will have champagne, mimosas, coffee, tea, and lemon water, along with wedding cake, beignets, and a spread of finger breakfast foods. This is a mingling reception — no formal program, no dance floor. Just warm company, a beautiful setting, and a very good reason to celebrate. Reception runs 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM, overlapping with group photography which continues until 12:00 PM. Come and go as you please.
4:30 pm
The wedding is over, the cake has been eaten, and we are not ready for the day to end — so we are heading to Voodoo Bayou, a Southern Cajun restaurant on Restaurant Row, about 15-20 minutes from Disney World. This is completely informal — no RSVP needed, no set itinerary. Come if you are still around and want to keep celebrating. Everyone covers their own meal. Think gumbo, jambalaya, beignets, craft cocktails, and a full bar. Live music starts at 9:30 PM — the band is The Guilty Pleasures. And if you are feeling adventurous: somewhere inside Voodoo Bayou there is a hidden speakeasy called Roka Hula. A wall moves. You will know it when you find it. (It is 21+ and separate reservations are recommended.) Phone: (407) 574-5755 Speakeasy reservations: voodoobayou.com/orlando-location
10:00 am
No formal plans, no required schedule — just us at EPCOT the day after the wedding, and an open invitation for anyone who wants to carry the weekend a little longer. January 18 is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and EPCOT is also in the middle of its International Festival of the Arts, one of the most beautiful times of year to visit the park. Guests at the Swan can take the complimentary Friendship boat directly to EPCOT's International Gateway — the back entrance tucked inside World Showcase. Guests at Pop Century or Art of Animation can ride the free Skyliner gondola to the same entrance. Park tickets are not included — each guest will need their own ticket or Annual Pass (approximately $109-130 per adult for a single day). No need to coordinate with us — just text when you are in the park and we will find each other. We would love to see you. ♥
