Travel Note

Edmonds - Kingston Ferry

The Heronswood Garden, is located across the Puget Sound in Kingston, WA. There are a couple of ways to get there but we recommend taking the Edmonds-Kingston ferry. The venue is conveniently located 10 minutes away from the Kingston Ferry Terminal. Plan ahead! Summer weekends are a heavily trafficked time for the ferry route, so be sure to keep up with ferry wait times and arrive early. Once aboard, enjoy the beautiful views of the Puget Sound - who knows, maybe you'll spot an Orca! Directions From Seattle and Points South: Drive NORTH on Interstate 5 to State Route (SR) 104, taking Exit 177. Continue WEST on SR 104 for 4 miles and follow the signs to the Edmonds Ferry Terminal. Vehicles must enter the toll booths at SR 104 & Dayton Av via SR 104 northbound, but not from Dayton St. From Everett and Points North and East: Drive SOUTH on Interstate 5 to State Route (SR) 104, taking Exit 177. Continue WEST on SR 104 for 4 miles and follow the signs to the Edmonds Ferry Terminal.

Hotel

The Point Casino & Hotel

7989 Northeast Salish Lane
Kingston, WA 98346
 (360) 297-0070

Located less than two miles away from the Heronswood Garden, The Point Hotel and Casino is the closest accommodation to our ceremony and reception site. Your stay at The Point will ease the stress of catching a ferry. The Point, like the Heronswood Garden, is owned and operated by the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe. The Point provides courtesy shuttle transportation from the hotel to venue, and return. We reserved a group block for our wedding guest. The group is set-up under Gabrielle Atherley & Cristobal Valdez, or code 8400391. In order to book under the block, call the hotel and give our names, or book online and enter the code 8400391, OR enter "Gabrielle Atherley & Cristobal Valdez" in the comment box at checkout. Once 10 rooms are booked under the block, the Point will apply a discount of 5% off each room.

Travel Note

Out of State Guest

For friends and family who are traveling from out of state, we recommend that you find any long term accommodations in the Greater Seattle Area, rather than spending your entire stay in Kingston, WA. An option would be to stay in Kingston for a night and to spend the rest of your trip in the Seattle Area. Please feel free to reach out to Gabby or Cris for any recommendations!
