Completed in 1926 by the visionary Book brothers, this 38-story skyscraper was once the tallest building in the city. Designed by renowned architect Louis Kamper, its Renaissance-inspired design, intricate detailing, and copper-clad roof make it one of the most distinctive buildings in Detroit’s skyline. After decades of change and eventual vacancy, Book Tower was brought back to life through an extensive restoration led by Bedrock. Reopened in 2023, it now features elegant residences, a boutique hotel, restaurants, and curated shops. Today, it stands as a symbol of Detroit’s revival—historic, beautifully reimagined, and full of new energy.
