There are three airports you can fly into, but we recommend Milano Malpensa (MXP) as the most convenient option for getting to Lake Como. While September is slightly less crowded than peak summer months like July and August, it’s still a popular time to visit. We recommend booking your flights and accommodations as early as possible — ideally at least 6 months in advance — to ensure the best availability and pricing.
For our welcome party, the boat will leave from Cernobbio and our wedding venue is also located in Cernobbio (town of Lake Como, Italy). We recommending booking accommodations in either Cernobbio or Como (two neighboring towns 10 minutes apart) but Cernobbio is our #1 recommendation since it's the closest to everything. Please consider staying at either the Sheraton (Cernobbio town), Hilton (Como town), or an AirBnB. If your preference is the latter, there are plenty of options and at varying price points in both Cernobbio and Como to choose from. In the evening of our welcome party and on the wedding day, we will provide shuttles to both Cernobbio and Como. Please note, there will be no shuttle to reach the boat for our welcome party.
Unfortunately, no! The hotels required us to guarantee a certain number of rooms for multiple nights, and we didn’t feel comfortable placing that obligation on our guests—especially with more affordable Airbnb options available.
Lake Como’s streets are narrow and parking can be tricky, so we don’t recommend renting a car unless you’re planning to explore beyond the lake. We’ll be providing transportation for all wedding events, so a car won’t be necessary during your stay.
With the exception of immediate family children that will be in our wedding, we kindly request that our wedding be an adults-only occasion. We hope you enjoy an elevated date night out to relax, get dressed up, celebrate and dance the night away with us! We recognize September is a challenging time of the year and it’s difficult to make arrangements so we understand your decision and will feel your love and support no matter what. If you plan on traveling with your children, we can provide babysitters/ shared nanny services but please let us know in advance.
Yes! Filet mignon is the dinner entrèe at our welcome reception so please note any dietary restrictions & allergies on your RSVP.
We kindly request you to RSVP by July 1st, 2025.
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list to stay within our venue's limitations. All RSVP's are limited to the names on your invitations. Thank you for understanding!
We’ll be arriving in Lake Como on Tuesday, September 16th and staying at the Sheraton. If you're planning to arrive early, please let us know — we'd love to see you! Our welcome party is on Thursday, September 18th at 7:00 PM, and our wedding ceremony is on Friday, September 19th starting at 5:30 PM. If you'd like to attend both events, we recommend arriving in Italy on Wednesday, September 17th, or the morning of Thursday, September 18th, to give yourself time to settle in and adjust to the time difference.
For the welcome party, we will be taking a sunset cruise to a lakeside restaurant. No swimwear, think cocktail attire with an Italian twist — or as the bride calls it, “Como Chic.” Stylish, festive, and fun! (Yes, “Como Chic” might be made up, but we’re here for it.) Cocktail dresses (long/short) for women. Summer suits (coat, no tie) for men. Crisp linens welcomed! For the wedding day, we’re going Black Tie — think tuxes, gowns, or formal attire. No t-shirts, jeans, shorts, hats, or flip flops (for the men). All colors are welcome — black is totally fine, but we love a pop of color too! What to Expect: September in Lake Como is similar to the weather in the northeast U.S. which means warm and sunny during the day (65-75 degrees), with cooler evenings (sometimes 50 degrees)!—so we recommend the ladies pack a light shawl/ jacket for nighttime!
Your presence at our wedding and your commitment to taking time from your busy lives to celebrate with us is a gift in itself. We truly do not expect more. Having just renovated and furnished our home, we feel incredibly fortunate to have everything we need. For that reason, we’ve decided to forgo a registry. We're simply so incredibly excited to celebrate with you. With love, Gabrielle & Anthony
