Matron of Honor
Gabby’s time at Canisius brought her many of her closest friends, including Caitlin. They first met in bio 102 lab spring 2008, but Caitlin doesn’t remember that so the story is spring 2009 at recruitment. After that year, Caitlin and Gabby became inseparable between majoring in biochemistry and sisterhood. Frolicking has always been their favorite thing to do - whether it be in Buffalo exploring the New Humboldt Inn or the streets of Chicago dressed as ballerina leprechauns. Gabby and Caitlin experienced their adulthood together, sharing in every moment from their first World’s Largest Disco to Caitlin becoming a mom. Gabby can’t imagine life without Caitlin by her side.
Best Man
As Tim has known the groom since the day he was born, it’s only fitting he will take on the role of Best Man. Not only are Tim and Andy brothers, but they are also best friends. This may come as a surprise to anyone who saw them fight endlessly growing up, but ask either one of them and they’ll tell you it only brought them closer. Tim’s residence in Buffalo is what moved Andy to the City of Good Neighbors in 2021, where he ultimately met Gabby.
Bridesmaid
Freshman year, Gabby’s roommate dropped out after first semester to go play on the semi-pro WoW circuit. Luckily, she got a real gem as her new roommate in Lauren. Their time at Canisius is when they developed their love for Mean Girls and a good game of Shot-Scattergories. Lauren and Gabby share many fond memories including traveling the UK, roadtripping to Virginia using a physical map from AAA, tequila tuesdays and many games of golf with Gary and Larry. Next on the list: LPGA.
Groomsman
As the older brother of the bride, Anthony played a crucial role in the engagement process: helping Andy procure the ring. Admittedly, Andy knew nothing about fine jewelry, but being the renaissance man he is, Anthony had him covered. Andy admires Anthony’s appreciation for the finer things in life: travel, cigars, and bourbon just to name a few. And despite his best efforts, Andy has still not been able to convert Anthony to a Mets fan.
Bridesmaid
Emily and Gabby met their sophomore year at Canisius as sorority sisters, but became inseparable senior year. As housemates, you really get to know a lot about a person. For example: their hoarding habits (specifically Sam Adams Oktoberfest); obsession with milk and lack of understanding of how ovens work (raw brownies are Emily’s specialty). While Emily and Gabby went different directions geographically, their friendship never faltered. Every time they were together, it felt like they were never apart. Throughout it all, Emily and Gabby bonded over many laughs, their love of sports and fun nights out solidifying their friendship well beyond college.
Groomsman
T.J. and Andy became fast friends when they rode the same bus in 3rd Grade, later joining forces to play Pop Warner football and Little League Baseball. Most notably, the two led their baseball team to a championship while coached by their mothers. As they grew older, the friendship grew stronger. When T.J. headed to New York City for college and beyond, Andy was a frequent visitor. When Andy moved to New York in 2016, T.J. was quick to introduce Andy into his vast social circle. Unsurprisingly, T.J. can walk into a room of 10 strangers, and leave with 10 friends.
Bridesmaid
Cinco de Mayo 2022 is when Gabby first met Katie. To nobody’s surprise, except Gabby’s at the time, Andy and Tim started arguing. Fortunately for Gabby, Katie was there to explain the brothers dynamic. From that point on, Katie continued to be a crux of Gabby’s assimilation into the Seil clan. They have shared in many memories bringing them closer including seeing DJ Diesel (Shaq), hiking the rainforest of Puerto Rico and leaving Tim and Andy to fend for themselves in the parking lot while they went to the Bills game.
Groomsman
As Kindergarten classmates in 1996, Keith and Andy were destined for great things together from an early age. From first communion at Our Lady of Lourdes, to Brighton Football, to Keith’s wedding in 2022, these two have experienced it all together. Fitting that both are now living and dying by every pitch of the New York Mets 162-game season.
Bridesmaid
With generations of friendships preceding them, Brittany and Gabrielle were destined to be best of friends. From the beginning, they were inseparable - playing in Gabrielle's turtle sandbox or swimming in Brittany's blow-up pool, to dancing as Baby Bop or drawing the design of their double-hump camel costume in Borders (yes, the bookstore), and ultimately wearing that costume. It's to no surprise they continued their friendship in adulthood with Brittany's wedding, experiencing Bills wins (and losses) and looking forward to book club.
Groomsman
Trevor’s and Andy’s friendship dates all the way back to Discovery Daycare in Rochester at just six months old. From their earliest days to the present Trevor’s friendship to Andy can be summed up in one word: loyalty. They’ve truly seen each other through the highest of highs, and lowest of lows. Despite Trevor’s nomadic, world-traveler lifestyle, oftentimes without cellphone service or internet connection, the two have never lost touch. Trevor always finds a way to reach out. The best news is we know Trevor will find himself in Buffalo on June 14, 2025.
Ring Bearer
The smallest member of the wedding party, standing at just over 2 feet tall, Nolan will undoubtedly have the most important job of the day. As the nephew of the bride and groom, Nolan was the first to be asked to join in their special day. He gladly accepted his role with a resounding 'ya' and Uncle Andy and Aunt Gabby are so happy he did!
