We met online discussing the polarizing topic of best chicken wings in Buffalo in 2022. After strongly disagreeing on everything to do with chicken wings, we still decided to meet for our first date at Beer Keep, where Gabby insisted she could buy her own beer. Gabby hasn't bought her own beer since... Our relationship continued to blossom, trying all the best food and watering holes Buffalo has to offer and bonding over our shared interest of sports. Andy somehow convinced Gabby to become a Mets fan traveling near and far to catch a game. And Andy jumped at the opportunity to join Bills Mafia, slowly transitioning from 'only wanting to go to one game' to being the other season ticket member. When we moved in together in 2023, Andy took on the responsibility of being "Dog Dad" to our rescue Luna. While Luna will never love any human as much as the woman who rescued her (Gabby) from Louisiana, the bond Luna and Andy now share is a pillar of our relationship. We still do not agree on who has the best wings, but spending quality time together is what we valued most and wouldn't change a thing (except maybe how dry Andy's favorite wings are).

For anyone that has ever met Gabby, you will certainly know how much she loves her birthday (month). With May 30, 2024 approaching, Andy had big plans that he could not share with Gabby. In fact, Andy was being so secretive that Gabby became frustrated with his lack of a plan. Despite, her frustration, he did not crack. On the big day, the couple dined out to celebrate, but Andy was being nervously silent throughout. Upon their return home, Andy gave Gabby a few gifts, noting he had one more for her to open before the night was complete. After returning from upstairs to retrieve the gift, Andy told Gabby she needed to stand up for this one. To Andy's shock, Gabby had already found herself snug on the couch and reluctantly stood up upon Andy's request. Once Andy had Gabby's full and undivided attention, he first handed her a card that had a series of questions in it, the last of which was "Will You Marry Me?" As Gabby read through the card, she was stumped on a word trying to decipher Andy's chicken scratch handwriting. It was too late, Andy had already dropped to a knee, ring in hand. Thankfully, Gabby did not hold it against Andy and responded with a resounding "YES!" The following evening, the newly engaged couple again had dinner plans to celebrate the birthday girl. This time they had reservations to dine with Gabby's family at highly regarded Buffalo Italian restaurant, Inizio. With some time to kill before dinner, Andy suggested stopping for a drink at renown Buffalo watering hole and Irish pub, Cole's. Gabby agreed and upon arrival the couple was greeted by both the Seil and Lorenzo families to celebrate the engagement. Surprised and somewhat confused, Gabby asked Andy "does this mean we aren't going to Inizio for dinner?" Yes, Andy still owes Gabby a night out at Inizio, but the couple will never forget this evening surrounded by family and their closest friends. Not bad for, not having a plan.
