Arthur's Seat is the volcanic hill overlooking Edinburgh. Although the exact origins of the name are unknown, some believe it is connected to the myths of King Arthur! Arthur's seat is a beautiful moderate hike that can easily be accessed from the park surrounding Holyrood Palace at the bottom of the Royal Mile! It offers incredible views of the city and is well worth the trek!

We highly recommend taking a day trip up to the Highlands if you can! The Highland Games isn't one event, there's actually many events all over the highlands! The last few games usually happen in early to mid-September, so if you're planning on exploring the country before or after the wedding, check it out - it's sure to be an experience you'll never forget!
