Max and Gabi’s story started in Champaign in September of 2018. Introduced by a mutual friend, the night they met included laughter, a little chaos, and even a dash of sriracha (if you know, you know). It was the start of everything. Over the following months, they grew close, officially starting their relationship as they rang in the new year together. In July 2025, after six and a half years together, Max proposed at one of their favorite places - the Bleck Cottage on Pine Lake, Wisconsin. While out on a canoe ride, he surprised Gabi with a proposal, followed by a celebratory toast and an impromptu gathering with family. They are so excited to celebrate this next chapter with their favorite people.
