Gabriella and Carson met on Halloween weekend in 2021. Across the crowded room, Gabriella caught sight of Carson dressed as a unicorn costume and leaned over to her friend saying, “The unicorn is mine,” feeling an instant pull toward someone she had never even spoken to. That night they finally met, started talking, and have been inseparable ever since. Since October 2021, life has moved quickly. They have celebrated a college graduation, made it through two overseas deployments, visited 5 countries, and welcomed both of their fur babies, Sheldon and Maya, into the family. Through every high and low, every season of change, their connection has only deepened. In 2024, Carson proposed at Tybee Island, Georgia, the same place he had taken Gabriella on one of their first dates. It was already meaningful to them both, and has since become a spot they return to each anniversary. Now, they look ahead with so much excitement for what is still to come, especially becoming husband and wife and beginning the next chapter of building their own little family together.
