High Speed and Bullet Train Renfe or AVE

If not renting a vehicle, we recommend booking a high speed train from Barcelona to Tarragona. From Sants Station to Camp de Tarragona, the trip is about 30 minutes. Camp de Tarragona is the station located about 10 km outside the city. It serves high-speed AVE and Avant trains on the Madrid–Barcelona line. Caution, there is another station called Tarragona (Estació de Tarragona) so be sure to travel to the right location to avoid missing your train!

Travel Note

Driving Information

We recommend a rental car for travel around Tarragona. While Barcelona will offer Uber and taxi driving services, Tarragona offers limited taxi services. For this reason, if you are not renting a car, we recommend taking the high speed train from Barcelona (where you will likely fly in) to Tarragona and take taxis to travel around the city. Taxis can be booked with the assistance of your accomodations (hotel). Buses to the castle on the wedding day will be available at specified locations. More information coming soon.
