Our favorite view of Lake Michigan! It’s an easy hike to the viewpoint but if you’re feeling bold, you can sprint down the 450-foot dunes for a swim in the lake. Just remember the only out is up... The signs say a lift from a United States Coast Guard helicopter will run you $3,000 — so maybe stretch first 😉
Enjoy a walk through some of the most uninterrupted dunes in the area and spend the day swimming in Lake Michigan and soaking up the sun!
Our yearly tradition is to climb up this easy access popular dune with a view of Little Glen Lake. Lots of dune hills going out towards Lake Michigan to explore, run down, or jump off of. Make sure to snag a mid-air action shot leaping off the bluffs and then run all the way back down!
One of coconuts favorite Michigan activities. Grab a group and enjoy a 2-3 hour shallow water float in a kayak or Canoe.
Michigan is known for its cherries! Be sure to check out Cherry Republic in town for cherry ice cream, cherry wine tasting, cherry chocolate, basically, cherry everything. It’s a must-stop while you’re in Glen Arbor! Our favorite: The Sour Cherries
Right next to your bed & breakfast is The Pinecone, our favorite spot for ice cream! Grab a cone and take a stroll down to Lake Michigan to watch the sunset, a perfect, relaxing way to end the day.
Gabe's Great Aunt Barb and her husband George own this wonderful coffee shop and on the river. Stop by for a coffee in the morning or come back for dinner in the evening and enjoy food sourced locally from their farm!
