Lake Day / Rehearsal Dinner

2:00 pm - 9:00 pm

We’d love for everyone to join us at the Windward Cottage for a day on beautiful Glen Lake, a chance to relax, have fun, and get to know one another before the wedding. We’ll spend the afternoon on the water enjoying boat rides, swimming, and relaxing by the shore with yard games. Appetizers and drinks will be provided, followed by a sit-down dinner catered by Forgerelli’s featuring a delicious pasta bar. We’ll end the evening with a sunset bonfire and s’mores. Wear whatever you’re comfortable in—swimsuits highly recommended and don’t forget a change of dry clothes. We can’t wait to celebrate together!

Ceremony

4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Our ceremony and cocktail hour will be held on the beach on Lake Michigan no heels, please! It can be breezy, so keep the wind in mind when choosing your outfit. Please wear what you’d wear to a resort dinner in the sand. Dress pants or linen pants with a nice shirt—no suit required. Florals, summery, or coastal colors work beautifully. Flats or sandals are recommended for the sand. Color Notes: Please no white! Groom will be wearing dusty blue, bridesmaids in matcha green and groomsmen in tan. Farwell Dune Drive

11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Enjoy breakfast at the Sylvan Inn with the bridal party, then once you are packed up and on your way out, join us on a scenic national park dune drive through the Michigan forests up to spectacular dune viewpoints over Lake Michigan. The drive ends at a wide, open stretch of towering dunes where we’ll spend the late morning relaxing, exploring, and soaking in the views. Put your toes in the sand one last time before heading to the airport.
