Rachel and I want to thank everyone for bearing with us through these postponements and updates. Unfortunately, Riverside County has extended its stay-at-home mandate past May 9th and our wedding will be canceled. We are not sure when we'll be able to reschedule yet, but we have decided to cancel until further notice. We are heartbroken and saddened by this news but we know times are even tougher for many others out there. We want to thank you for all the support and love from all our friends and family who were looking to celebrate with us. We wanted nothing more than to share this day with all of you. Rachel and I are still very much looking forward to our yappilyeverafter, and hopefully it'll be sooner than we think! We are praying that everyone continues staying safe and healthy, and we love you all!
Great news! Fortunately, our wedding venue has been able to reschedule us for May 9th, 2020. We are hoping everyone who RSVP'd is still able to make it, but if not, you can change your RSVP right on our website! We understand any concerns about COVID19 and our venue will abide by any health guidelines or mandates. We know that this pandemic has affected many of you and countless others, and we are blessed that our biggest concerns are just replanning this wedding. These federal and state mandates are changing every day, and there is a chance that they could be extended pass our wedding date. Please continue to check our website for updates. We will do our best to keep everyone informed in the coming days.
We are unfortunately adding this update to let everyone know our wedding has been postponed. The venue was mandated to cancel per Riverside County orders. We understand that these measures are important to prevent the spread of COVID19. We want to thank you for everyone who has RSVP'd and have sent gifts from our registry. We will keep everyone updated as best as we can. Stay safe everyone and we'll keep you in our prayers.
We met on one of the first weekends of freshman year. Our mutual friend had one of the only cars out of our dorm hall (freshman problems), and it happened to be a manual. Fortunately for Rachel, Gabe was one of the only people who knew how to drive stick!! Our friend let Gabe borrow his car to drive Rach and friends to the mall, and the rest is history! Short Story: I was her 'uber' driver for a night.
