Things to Do

The Wedding Website of Jessica Cherner and Gabriel Baldinger
There is SO much to do in Asheville, whether you want to explore downtown, hit some local breweries, or roam the grounds of the Biltmore.
Breweries

Breweries

37 Paynes Way, Asheville, NC 28801

Asheville is known as "Beer City USA," and is home to more than 50 breweries scattered across the city. Our personal favorites are the indoor-outdoor ones at the Wedge, which is nestled within the River Arts District.

Hiking Trails and Gardens at the Biltmore

Hiking Trails and Gardens at the Biltmore

One Lodge Street, Asheville, NC 28803

The Biltmore mansion is situated amongst 8,000 acres of natural landscapes. There are 22 miles of hiking trails, ranging from easy to challenging, and approximately 75 acres of both formal and informal gardens. The gardens include the walled garden, conservatory, and a massive azalea garden, complete with a shaded coffee shop.

Downtown Asheville

Downtown Asheville

19 Haywood Street, Asheville, NC 28801

Downtown Asheville is so much fun. If you are staying at The Restoration, there's no need to call a car to take you there; it's just outside the lobby. The area, which takes place on and around Haywood Street, has restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, and boutiques. If, like me, you love home stores, check out Abode on Broadway Street. Coffee lovers, make sure to enjoy a latte at Bad Manners on Haywood!
