Here are the best ways to travel: By Air The most convenient airport for most guests is Harrisburg International Airport (MDT), located about 1.5–2 hours from the resort. From there, you can rent a car or take a train closer to the lake. Other nearby options include: State College Regional Airport (SCE) – about 1 hour away Altoona–Blair County Airport (AOO) – about 30 minutes away (small regional airport) Larger airports like Pittsburgh International Airport or Baltimore/Washington International Airport are also options, about 2.5–3 hours away, often with more flight availability. By Train You can take Amtrak to Huntingdon Station, which is the closest train stop to the resort. From there, it’s about a 20–30 minute drive to Raystown Lake. There is typically one daily route connecting through Harrisburg. By Car Driving is the easiest and most flexible option. Raystown Lake Resort is located near Huntingdon in central PA.
