She is beautiful, smart, kind, and honest. She is older than me by three years, and we shared a room together for almost eight years. You can say we know each other really well. I know I can count on her and ask her for advise knowing she has my best interest in heart. I've never been good at "dressing-up", but GOD gave me an AMAZING sister that would help me. My older sister has always been there for me, and now she will be right next to me as I say "I DO".

Here’s to the first bro I've ever had with the important task of being my best man at my wedding. Alex is a brother that cares about me and has always wanted what is best for me. D.D. is my younger sister. I also shared a room with her for a couple of years (this is what happens when you are the middle child). Our personalities are completely different, and even though we argue just like most siblings do we also get along quite well. We like to goof around with each other and sing songs together. She helps me out when it comes to styling my hair such as braiding it, straightening, etc., D.D. is a beautiful intelligent women and I know one day she will be an amazing pediatrician.

When I met Gaby’s family, I noticed she only had 1 brother and he was also the youngest of them all. I was like “well, that must be tough”. I wouldn’t know how tough it must have been to just have a bunch of sisters in the house and no brother bonding. He was just a small kid when I first met him and because of our big age difference we wouldn’t talk as much. Over the years, we began talking a little more and I’ve noticed how he’s a guy who is loyal, helpful, and caring. Asking him to become apart of my groomsmen is so that he knows he’ll have an older brother with him now who’ll help him out with whatever.

I met Rosa as a graduate student in disease ecology class, and then she joined Dr. Castro's Lab. We became close friends and could be found together with Candice and Andrea roaming the supple building. We had great time going through caves searching for soft ticks and crying from stress because of the graduate's life.

My brother from another mother right here. Here is a guy who I know I can count on to always have my back! We’ve met through tennis, even though it was an awkward start at first, we clicked; now if only we could’ve clicked as doubles partners too that would’ve been OP! But nevertheless, here is a guy who is a man of his word, help me when I ask, and back me up when I need it. Even though I moved out of town to study for a while, he was there to see me off (what now began a yearly Camping Trip) and even showed up to watch me graduate. P.S. Sorry for all those tennis ball hits bro! 😅

I met Lorena when she was in elementary school. She was quiet and shy, but we had something in common, our love for anime. Over these 8 years, I have seen her grow into a marvelous young lady with a great personality. She is hardworking, artistic, and amiable. I look forward to having her become my sister-in-law, and want her to know that if she ever needs anything I will be there for her.

Here’s to the littlest bro, even though when you see him you sure wouldn’t think that he is because of his size. He’s a big tall dude who you got to approach with caution or else he’ll go Hulk mode on you; so watch out. Nah, just kidding, he’s just a big guy with a big heart. This guy will stand up for you and for what he believes is right. He’ll never back down from a fight. He is loud, adventurous, smart, confident and straightforward. Having him apart of my groomsmen is a must, not only because he’s family but because I know he’ll help me out when I’m in need.

I remember going over to Jose's house and meeting Jackie. She was in middle school and was hanging out with Lorena. She’s a smart girl and will speak her mind. She’s easy to have a conversation with about almost anything really. I noticed when I met Jackie she didn’t seem to have any brothers or sisters, she is an only child. Asking her to be a part of my wedding as a bridesmaids, I hope to assure her that she’ll become family and can ask me for help and I’ll be there to help her out.

I consider this guy right here as another younger brother of mine. I’ve known him since I was in middle school, we met through our church. Even though he is younger than me, he taught me all there was to know about alter serving. Through the great times and the bad, we’ve been there for one another. He’s a bro who loves the outdoors, his ranch and his animals. I know for a fact that if I would spend just a few more hours with him, I’d become a cowboy myself. He’s been a great brother overall and I’m glad he said yes to be apart of my groomsmen.

We both had some classes together, but it wasn't until we took a course that required lots of late studying at the library that we officially became close friends. Then we became lab mates as Graduate students at Texas State University. We were inseparable - "we were each other's chicle".

This is the guy who I can say was my very first friend that I made and started talking to when I moved to Martin High. Even though because of him I got a bad rep and nickname with the girls, he’d make going to class fun. He’s been honest, helpful and caring; what more can I ask from this great guy. Let me tell you one more thing about this bro right here, from what I’ve witnessed during my EMT class, I know for a fact if I ever needed CPR, this guy can pull it off! 😄
