Do we have to stay all 3 nights?

Answer

Not at all! We know everyone has busy schedules, and we’re grateful for any time you can spend with us. Come for as much of the weekend as you’re able, we’ll just be excited to celebrate with you!

Do we have to stay at the venue?

Answer

Absolutely not! We’d love to have you on-site, but we understand that everyone’s travel plans look different. You’re welcome to stay anywhere nearby and join us for the festivities. Please just let us know what you’re planning to do so we can plan accordingly!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

It’s November in the mountains, think crisp fall vibes! Days are typically cool and nights can get cold. Pack sweaters, jackets, and something warm for evenings by the fire.

What meals are included during the weekend?

Answer

All meals!! Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided throughout the entire weekend. You will be very well fed!

How do we get to Hawkesdene?

Answer

Hawkesdene is tucked away in the NC mountains, so expect some scenic winding roads! The closest major airports are: Asheville (AVL) – ~1 hour 45 minutes Knoxville (TYS) – ~2 hours Chattanooga (CHA) – ~2 hours Atlanta (ATL) – ~2.5 hours Charlotte (CLT) – ~3 hours Driving is usually the easiest option. If you’re flying in, we recommend renting a car so you can get to the venue and explore the area comfortably.

How do the rooms work on the property?

Answer

Hawkesdene is set up like a little mountain village with different cottages and rooms spread out across the property. All bedrooms are private, but some bathrooms are shared depending on the house layout. Don’t worry — we’ll make sure everyone is matched up comfortably and placed in the right spot! There are also three additional private homes on the property available to rent for your group or family. If you’re interested or have questions about those options, just let us know and we can share more info.

Relaxed, fun, and very laid-back, think a big friends-and-family hangout in the mountains. Come ready to unwind and enjoy the weekend.
