In 2004 I {Gabriela} moved to New Jersey from the Dominican Republic. I instantly saw the cute neighbor next door. I would say it was love at first sight but an impossible since he was older and I knew my dad was not going to have it! As months went by we started talking more and more he would walk me to school and write letters for me and drop it in my mailbox along with chocolates and teddy bears. I loved how romantic he was and the little details. We became a couple but my dad wasn't having at all as expected. My mom and aunt would cover up for us for me to even have a chance to spend time with Chris. I remember having to sneak him in through the back window! I would also cook and make sure I put his food to the side. Every time we had the chance Chris and I would skip school and go out to lunch, watch movies and just overall be together. Our story is insane I can go on and on about it all day. These 19 years together have been full of ups and downs from being teenagers to building a beautiful family and creating our empire. We are finally saying YES to spend the rest of our life together. #cheerstovega2023
