We both have to be honest, in the beginning of us we didn't really want to share that we met each other via Tinder. There was such a large stigma that people who meet on Tinder, stay on Tinder and don't really end up anywhere. Of course, here we are today eternally indebted to that silly little dating app. We met our Junior year of college up in Fort Collins. A simple coffee date turned into an almost all nighter filled with D.P Dough Calzones and horror movies, two of the many things that brought and continues to bring us together. Through the summer leading into our Senior Year we both spent the time counting down the days until we would be able to see one other once more and share a laugh and a smile together. Senior year of college solidified what the relationship you all see before you is. Two people who love dinosaurs, various forms of potatoes, and overall one another. We cannot wait to spend the literal BEST day of our lives with you all!
It had started off like any other "Birthday Weekend", you know, the ones where you celebrate your birthday for 4 days in a row instead of just one. Bradley had already started the weekend with one of the best surprises Gabby could have ever imagined. He had flown her best friend, Faith, out to celebrate. The next day Bradley and Faith told Gabby to be ready by noon for yet another surprise. The crew left to a lunch spot near downtown Denver and then to stroll around the Denver Zoo. As they spent the afternoon strolling the storm clouds began rolling in. As they were nearing the end of the zoo the rain began to pour. Gabby and Faith hid in the gift shop while Bradley pulled the car around, he himself getting drenched. Once everyone was in the car they instructed Gabby to sit in the back and lay down so she wouldn't see where the next surprise was going to be. When the car stopped, Bradley and Faith asked Gabby to step out. At this point the rain had not lightened and the sky was still dark. They walked along side a lake holding each others hands. Bradley then asked Gabby to stop and close her eyes. She felt him squeeze her hands and asked her to open them. She did so and then felt something be placed in them. As she opened her eyes, Bradley was down on one knee with a box opened to reveal the most beautiful diamond ring and a groom lego. Gabby realized that the item in her hand was a bride lego. Bradley staired into her eyes and said he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her and asked her to marry him. A whirl pool of emotions overcame Gabby and she began to cry tears of happiness. She immediately leaned to kiss him and yelled " YES!". They embraced and with a trembly hand Bradley placed the perfect ring on her finger. As the rain continued to soak them Faith and Karina, a family friend photographer, began to snap photos of the beautiful moment. It was PERFECT, the rain, the ring, the moment.
